Lauren Estes founded Allegiant Financial Planning, LLC in 2013 as an independent firm specializing in transparent investment management and comprehensive financial planning for young professionals, small-business owners, individuals and families.

She started Allegiant to fill a gap that other local investment and financial planning firms were overlooking. Too often, young individuals and families delay financial planning until later in life instead of capitalizing on their many years of hard work. And, too many couples do not safeguard their assets from the unforeseen financial consequences of divorce, untimely death or unexpected illnesses.

Lauren’s background as a paralegal for seven years assisting with litigation cases combined with her previous experience with clients in investment management and financial planning grew her interest in helping individuals going through divorce. She is a designated Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ practitioner and collaborates closely with attorneys and CPAs to provide a full range of services and solutions.

Lauren takes a personalized and research-driven approach to address each client’s vision, goals, and risk parameters. All plans and recommendations are tailored for the individual client. And, Allegiant’s independent status means there are no ties to a particular investment or insurance company.
Lauren completed the Certified Financial Planner™ program at Christian Brothers University and holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation in addition to Series 7, 66 and Tennessee insurance licenses.

A Memphis native, Lauren is active in the community as a volunteer and advocate for the next generation of leaders. She joined Dress for Success’ board of directors in January 2016 and maintain the FPA of Greater Memphis’ website. Other professional affiliations include the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, Financial Planning Association (national), and the Memphis Bar Association and Family Law Division. She is a past Project Green Fork and the Financial Planning Association of Greater Memphis board member. She is also a graduate of the NEXUS leadership program and is now mentoring high school students as they transition to freshmen in college through tnAchieves. Lauren enjoys time with her family and Aussie, yoga, baking, and dining out at the great local restaurants.
